NOTICE!: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone if for any reason we feel
one of our hedgehogs would not be the best choice of companion animal
for them or their family.
Specific Colors:
Due to the difficulty of accurately predicting hedgehog colors, we will do our
best to ensure that the hedgehog you request is the best match possible in both
color and pattern, but do not offer exact color guarantees on juvenile
hedgehogs, as the color can change at the 8 week (approx.) quilling.
Health:
PogStar Hedgehogs guarantees all our hedgehogs to be free from any known
health problems at the time of sale. Any animal may be returned to the breeder
within one week of the purchase date if a problem arises with the animals
health or temperament. Additionally, babies purchased before the age of six
months are guaranteed to be free of any congenital or hereditary defects or
conditions. If a baby is lost due to a hereditary problem, we will replace the
animal at no charge upon receipt of a necropsy report from a licensed
veterinarian stating that the hedgehog was lost due to a condition that was
either hereditary or present at birth. Hedgehogs purchased or adopted after
the age of six months do not carry a long term health guarantee, but will have
been checked before time of sale or adoption for any signs of defects, and are
guaranteed free of any communicable diseases at that time. Guarantees do
not cover accident, negligence, abuse, or any treatable condition or illness.
Pricing:
Hedgehogs from the PogStar are priced based on temperament, color, pattern,
and sex. At this time all of our animals are priced between $80 and $120. For
more information on the expected price or availability of certain colors or
animals, please contact us.
Reservations:
PogStar Hedgehogs does welcome reservations on babies from current or
upcoming litters, or requests for certain colors. We do ask that you keep in mind
that this is not a guarantee that a litter will be successful or a specific color will
be produced from a breeding. There is no cost to be placed upon a waiting list
and contacted about a litter or color. To hold a specific baby we do ask a $20
non-refundable deposit, which will hold your baby until eight weeks. To continue
holding your baby beyond this time, payment in full will be required unless other
arrangements have been made. If you are needing your baby shipped to you,
we do ask that you try to reserve a baby from a litter which will be ready close to
a time when are planning to have shipping available, both to help with our
cage space limitations and so you can have the most of your hedgehog's
"childhood" to enjoy and bond with your new pet.

quality of our hedgehogs or service.
Payment:
We appreciate payment in the form of cash, money orders, or cashier's checks. Personal checks
are accepted, but must clear the bank prior to you taking your hedgehog home. Credit cards are
not accepted at this time.
Shipping:
Due to the increase in cost and difficulty of safely shipping animals, we no longer offer shipping. Please see the breeders listing at
Hedgehog World for a breeder near you, or one who may still offer shipping.
Refunds/Exchanges:
We at PogStar Hedgehogs do not believe that purchasing a pet is something to
be done without research and considerable thought. If you have any questions
or concerns about the suitability of a hedgehog as your new pet, please
contact us for help with your decision. PogStar Hedgehogs will replace a
hedgehog that proves unsuitable due to health or temperament, and if for
some reason you are unable to keep your pet, we are happy to assist you in
finding it a new home, however, we do not offer financial compensation except
at our discretion.
After Sale Help:
We want you to have the best possible experience with your new pet. To help with this we are
available by phone or email to answer any questions you have after you take your hedgehog
home.
